Das können Sie bewirken:

  • Responsible for production and assembly specific aspects of the Electrical / EWIS / Avionic aircraft ATA chapters.
  • Interface as ME-representative with the production, engineering, design, program management, supply chain and quality teams in all related matters. 
  • Supporting the test aircraft production in Oberpfaffenhofen
  • Industrialization for the series final assembly line in Leipzig with the following key tasks: Assessment, verification and release of the design (internal/supplier) with regards to manufacturability best practices, DfMA and DfT Definition of delivery specifications for suppliers based on assembly requirements Definition of MBOM, build sequences, line balancing and planning factory layouts accordingly
  • Definition and specification of tools & jigs required for final assembly line Creation and maintenance of process plans and work instructions in DELMIA for the aircraft final assembly line
  • Optimization of processes to maximize the efficiency of the production line and continuous improvements
  • 1st level technical support to production / assembly deviations and for troubleshooting, processing of non-conformities and concession, creation of rework instructions

The place of work will be Leipzig.

Das bringen Sie mit:

  • Bachelor Degree in Manufacturing (Systems) Engineering or equivalent
  • 5 years experience in Aerospace Manufacturing Engineering
  • Practical experience in Electrical / Avionic installation and verification
  • Fundamental experience in electrical engineering (DC/AC, power electronics, signal processing, EWIS)
  • Confident in handling drawings, fitting instructions, wire diagrams and 3D model information
  • Familiarity with the handling of Design for Manufacturing & Assembly (DfMA) data Experience in manufacturing and testing of wire harnesses (insulation, crimping, soldering, bonding)
  • Experience in installing of Wire Harnesses, Line Replaceable Units (LRUs) and Avionic Antennas, Racks & Panels Fundamental experience in creation of Work instructions and Manufacturing routings
  • Good knowledge in Failure Analysis (Root Cause and Impact Analysis, 8D, Fishbone)
  • Fundamental experience Functional testing and End‑of‑line testing Experience in PLM Systems (ENOVIA), DELMIA and ERP/ MES Systems (SAP)
  • Very good communication skills in English, German is a plus
