We are looking for an experienced, passionate and detail-oriented team player to join our mechanical systems team as a development engineer for the complete lifecycle of complex electronic control units for all current and future programs developed by our company.

Your responsibilities in this role include:

  • Requirements capture, definition, verification and validation i.a.w. ARP4754A
  • Specification of electronic control units and their system integration
  • Implement and supervise hardware and software development lifecycle
  • Safety Assessment Process i.a.w. ARP4761 at system and equipment level
  • Preparation of Part 21 compliance documentation (MOC 0-9)
  • Point of contact for external supplier in all technical matters
  • Participatation in EASA panel meetings
  • Support of qualification, ground and flight test activities
  • Drive the performance of technical trade studies

You’ll bring this with you

  • Engineering Degree in Aerospace with 5+ years' experience in avionics or system design
  • In-depth experience with:
    • RTCA DO-178 and Do-254
    • System Development Processes (ARP4754A)
    • Safety Assessment Process (ARP4761)
  • Familiar with EASA Part 21J und CS/FAR 25
  • Work experience in ATA32 is a strong plus
  • Tool knowledge: Doors
  • Open minded personality with good communication skills, written and spoken in English, German is a plus
  • Structured and result orientated with strong team spirit
