As part of the Mechanical Systems team, this role involves design, validation and verification of the D328eco flight control system to enable Single Pilot Operation. With focus on ATA27, this role includes analysis and adaption of the conventional FCS as well as investigations for a future FBW Concept.
- Flight control adaptation to enable Single Pilot operation
- Flight control of the future – Fly by wire concept for D328
- Technical responsibility for single pilot compatible/compliant flight control system architecture
- Preparation and assessment of safety analysis at system and equipment level
- Preparation of specifications and other type design documents
- Point of contact for external equipment supplier in all technical matters
- Support of qualification, ground and flight test activities
- Performance of technical trade studies for fly by wire system Architecture
You’ll bring this with you
- Master’s Degree or Diplomingenieur in Aerospace
- 5 to 10 years' experience in aerospace industry
- Previous experience in aircraft development (or projects of similar complexity
- Expert in flight control system
- Proven experience in architecture of FCS
- Familiar with EASA Part 21J und CS/FAR 25
- Fluent in English. Fluency in German or additional languages is beneficial
- Capable of structuring and organizing work in efficient and effective manner
- Strong team spirit and good communication skills
- Creativity and the ability to act independently
- Technical problem-solving and decision-making ability
- Strong analytical skills, hands-on mentality
