This is what you can do

Within the Deutsch Aircraft programe organisation establishing and leading the Program Office for R&T Projects:

  • Definition of project team key functions and securing build-up of team competencies & skills
  • Establishing Project Management framework for planning, execution and controlling of the research activities
  • In collaboration with Chief Engineering Research Team and interfacing functions, such as Supply Chain, Finance, Quality, and Industrial taking the responsibility to define and to establish
       - PM planning, controlling and reporting governance
       - PM templates & tools securing lean planning, execution and controlling
       - digital visual management dashboards for programme KPIs monitoring
       - continuous consolidated reporting of program overall performance status
  • A key element is to establish and maintain the interface to governmental and public research institutes for research projects
         - Maintain regular communication within the governmental and research community 
         - Lead the process for application of public funded research projects
         - Secure adequate reporting within the research stakeholder community 
  • Organization and moderation of regular programme progress reviews as well as aircraft development milestones reviews

You’ll bring this with you

  • B.S /B.A. in Engineering, MBA or equivalent with 5-10 years of relevant aerospace industry experience (PMI certification or equivalent Aircraft OEM PM certification is a plus)
  • Demonstrated experience in managing public funded projects and establishing network to the related stakeholder
  • Successful demonstration of preparing, managing and presenting consolidated programme status reporting to leadership
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with time-critical requirements and displaying a strong affinity to process management, digitalisation and agile way of working
  • Strong presentation and oral communication skills
  • Due to collaboration to German government and public institutes excellent German language skills are mandatory
