This is what you can do
As Head of Aircraft Reliability and Maintenance Costs (f/m/d) you are responsible for the development of Reliability, Availability, Maintainability requirements on the aircraft & system level as an input to supplier TRC’s and to ensure customer expectations will be met.
Your tasks are:
- Definition and validation of Life Cycle Costs, Direct Maintenance Cost (DMC) targets and TBO’s, On-wing times, LRU replacement time, etc., to meet customer expectations and benchmarking against competitors
- Business analysis, MRO market sizing. Development of customer service solutions and support programs (power-by-the-hour, parts pool, etc)
- Key and strategic support to aircraft sales campaigns and contracts negotiation, producing materials related to maintenance cost, aircraft availability, Life Cycle Cost, reliability analysis and associated guarantees
- Set the standards for contractual terms for parts warranties, maintenance costs and reliability guarantees and monitor maintenance cost along different aircraft design stages, proposing improvements and mitigation solutions
- Improve aircraft reliability and customer profitability through cost-effective solutions
- Develop Aircraft Maintenance Program; Develop and implement a “Design for Maintenance” process
- Support preparation of content for webinars, aviation conferences and airshows
You’ll bring this with you
- Engineering degree and relevant proven experience in airline economics, operating and maintenance costs are a must
- 10+ years experience in aircraft OEMs, preferably in regional aviation
- Solid knowledge of LCC – Life Cycle Cost modelling, Aircraft reliability and design for low maintenance cost
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Autonomous worker and good communicator
- Very good written and oral knowledge in English, German is a plus
