This is what you can do

As part of the Systems Integration team in the Engineering Organization, this role will be responsible for installation of mechanical and electrical aircraft systems, as well as cabin/cargo components. The system integration team acts as focal point of the system directorate to the airframe (primary structure) department.

  • Good knowledge in CAD tools & CATIA V5, Smart team and 3Dxperience
  • Knowledge of mechanic and electric/avionic systems as well as cabin design
  • Good knowledge in development of 3D data of mechanic and avionic/electric systems installation  as well as cabin/-systems integration for implementation in a DMU compliant to installation requirements (including systems, zonal analysis and EWIS)
  • Good experience of system support structure definition and design (Ability to perform basic shear and bending moment calculations when designing support structure desirable)
  • Good knowledge in 3D-data validation and verification for EWIS Installation and separation requirements
  • Good knowledge in product structure and configuration Management

You’ll bring this with you

  • Bachelors degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering
  • 3 -5 years’ experience in aerospace
  • Good knowledge in CATIA V5 & CAD tools
  • Ideally trained in 3D Experience Software
  • Familiar with EASA Part 21J and CS-25/FAR 25
  • Fluent in English, fluency in German or any other language is beneficial 
  • Excellent team spirit, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Capable of structuring and organizing work in efficient and effective manner
  • Strong analytical skills, hands-on mentality
  • Creativity and the ability to act independently
  • Technical problem-solving
