Quality Design Engineer (f/m/d)

• Monitor and improve internal and external engineering quality processes, methods, procedures and relevant quality KPIs
• Execute the engineering quality assurance plan
• Support training sessions on quality tools, practices and processes
• Coordinate control plans
• Direct support to the engineering documentation management (distribution and comments), archive and monitor signature delegations
• Contribute to the validation gates of the aircraft programme and initiate corrective measures in case of deviation
• Perform root cause analyses for internal and external engineering quality issues
• Support risk management and supplier audits for supplier and engineering services
• Contribute, plan and support internal and external audits
• Monitor the use of current Deutsche Aircraft engineering processes, their improvement, and the adaptation of specific processes
• Monitor process compliance; secure and contain anomalies on site, regarding prototype, demonstrator, and serial aircraft

• Preferably Engineering degree in aeronautics/aviation or mechanical or a quality degree
• Basic understanding of the engineering quality aspects of an aircraft OEM
• 3+ years’ expertise in the aircraft industry or in a relevant adjacent field
• Good awareness of airframe certification requirements, design criteria, materials, methods and tools
• Experience in the development of new aircraft would be a plus
• Able to prioritise, manage and execute multiple simultaneous tasks
• Fast learner and is proactive
• Fluent English
