This is what you can do
As Powerplant Integrated Performance Engineer, you have the responsibility to perform all integration tasks necessary to understand and drive the optimization of the performances of the entire propulsion system, comprising:
- Engine and propeller integrated efficiencies, torque and thrust generation, as isolated and installed systems
- Nacelle ventilation
- Cooling systems integration.
As a key contributor, you have the responsibility of supporting the aircraft performance team.
You’ll bring this with you
- Educated Engineering degree (BA Eng/Sc, MA Eng/Sc) in aeronautics / aviation
- Aircraft handling qualities knowledge and understanding of contribution of propulsion integration
- Strong analytical capabilities using various digital tools
- Experience with type certification methods and requirements
- New product development experience at least part of one new aircraft program is a plus
- Technical problem-solving ability, on time, at cost and quality and in accordance with Customer expectations
- Fluent English language skills are essential, German or any other language is beneficial
- Good communication skills, team spirit, self-reliance
