This is what you can do

Technical guidance of flight physics engineers regarding aircraft design
Perform aircraft layout and system architecture studies
- Aircraft and system modelling for advanced aircraft concepts
- Aircraft sizing and architecture studies
- Trade studies and optimization
Perform performance and cost competitor analyses on aircraft level
Presentation to and alignment with senior management:
- Summarize and present complex technical concepts clearly and concisely
Perform interdisziplinary studies:
- Communication and interfacing with various departments
Perfrom and guide MR&O trade studies and support the definition of the company product prortfolio strategy
Provide aircraft level business case assumptions in preparation for new aircraft launch decisions
Prepare and maintain aircraft level master geometry definitions

You’ll bring this with you

Educated Engineering degree (Masters degree or equivalent) in Aerospace or Aeronautics
5+ years relevant experience in aircraft preliminary design
Experience using an aircraft preliminary design tool, such as Piano, AAA or Pacelab APD/SysArc
Knowledge of Model Based System Engineering (MBSE) concepts
Good communication skills, flexible and team-spirit
Fluent English language skills are essential, German or any other language is beneficial
