This is what you can do

  • Successfull management and further development of our Technical Support team & business, in alignment with the overall company strategy and the Head of Technical Support
  • Support efficient Technical Support supervision, considering all key metrics for the critical success factors.
  • Support continuous management of risks and opportunities, as well as continuous assessment of the Technical Support environment factors (e.g., customers, market, suppliers) potentially impacting the business case.
  • Lead the Technical Support as Deputy, and support the establishment and execution of a skill & competence strategy, essential to allow the Technical Support team executing its responsibilities.
  • Support establishment and fosterage of effective working relationships with all customers, partners, authorized service centers, as well as our internal teams.
  • Support  continuous collection, control and analysis of Technical Support relevant fleet and reliability data, in cooperation with our Design Organisation
  • Support development of technical solutions and modifications (e.g. SPR/RAS, Upgrades, GSE, Obsolescence Management, etc.)
  • Support the management of the quotation process in Technical Support
  • Cross-departmental Technical Support related consulting and coordination
  • Support organisation of customer conferences

You’ll bring this with you

  • Academical degree in Engineering, experienced Aircraft Engineer, or equivalent 
  • Minimum of 10+ years of relevant aerospace experience with demonstrated track record of leadership experience
  • Demonstrated technical and management experience for Technical Support of D328 aircraft series required
  • Demonstarted knowledge and experience in Part 147 training for the D328 aircraft series, as well as related regulations and management required - ideallly Part 147 Form 4 holder
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Professional proficiency in English and German required, both written and spoken
  • Strong entrepreneurial, as well as analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated experience in Technical Support management/handling required
  • Experience in developing and managing web-based services desired
  • Good IT skills and experience with SAP (ideally S4HANA) & Windows applications required
  • Willingness to be on call/24/7-shift work, if required
  • Worldwide travel, if required
