This is what you can do

  • Manufacture, installation and modification of wiring harnesses as part of test aircraft production
  • Laying and connecting of interiors and retrofits in the entire aircraft cabling system
  • Carrying out continuity, insulation and bonding tests
  • Manufacture and repair of components and assemblies according to construction documents
  • Removal and installation of electrical components in the aircraft
  • Independent troubleshooting and documentation of defective parts or systems
  • Documentation of all work carried out in paper form or in user-specific software (SAP, BM, Discrepancy Tool etc.)
  • Carrying out simple mechanical activities (e.g. opening/closing flaps, creating accesses etc.) according to specifications/instructions and processes
  • Supporting the processing of technical problem solutions in cooperation with other departments, such as Maintenance Org, Manufacturing Engineering, Design Org, Quality Management, Supply Chain or Logistics.

You’ll bring this with you

  • Successfully completed electrical vocational training in the aviation sector
  • 3+ years of professional experience in aircraft maintenance or the installation of electrical systems on aircraft
  • Initial experience and basic knowledge of SAP3+
  • Good knowledge of MS-Office would be an advantage
  • Good to good knowledge of written and spoken English (international team)
  • Ability to work in a team, commitment, independent working style and willingness to travel on business at home and abroad
  • High degree of flexibility, willingness to learn and ability to adapt and react to changing situations and priorities
  • Requirements for a valid background check according to LuftSiG § 7
