This is what you can do
- Manufacture, install and modify wiring harnesses as part of test aircraft production
- Lay and connect interiors and retrofits in the entire aircraft cabling system
- Carry out continuity, insulation and bonding tests
- Manufacture and repair of components and assemblies according to construction documents
- Remove and install electrical components in the aircraft
- Carry out independent troubleshooting and documentation of defective parts or systems
- Document all work carried out in paper form or in user-specific software (SAP, BM, Discrepancy Tool etc.)
- Carry out simple mechanical activities (e.g. opening/closing flaps, creating accesses etc.) according to specifications/instructions and processes
- Support the processing of technical problem solutions in cooperation with other departments, such as Maintenance Organisation, Manufacturing Engineering, Design Organisation, Quality Management, Supply Chain/Logistics
You’ll bring this with you
- Successfully completed electrical vocational training in the aviation sector
- 3+ years’ professional experience in aircraft maintenance or the installation of electrical systems on aircraft
- Initial experience and basic knowledge of SAP3+
- Good knowledge of MS-Office would be a plus
- Fluent in English (international team)
- Able to work in a team, committed, with an independent working style and willing to travel on business at home and abroad
- High degree of flexibility, willing to learn and able to adapt and react to changing situations and priorities
- Fulfilling the requirements for a valid background check according to LuftSiG § 7
