This is what you can do

  • Identify and implement process improvements and workflows.
  • Responsibility for safety, cleanliness and order on the shop floor of the T1 prototype
  • Handle efficient workshop / tool management
  • Checking and distributing the job cards to the specialist areas of the shops on the prototype
  • Control / check of the work progress in the dock of the T1 prototype
  • Support / contact person for the interfaces to planning / control / design / QM
  • Authorised to release the release-to-service or return-to-service for aircraft after base maintenance events with EASA Part 66 Cat B 1
  • Airworthiness assessment
  • Inspection (e.g. quality control, dimensional checks, surface protection, mass connections, functions, FAI checks, etc.) of the work carried out, for compliance with the specifications of the aircraft technical documentation, run cards, construction documents, etc.
  • Confirmation of the respective inspections within the scope of EASA Part 66 Cat B1
  • Maintenance of the aircraft's own documentation (e.g. L-file, logbook, etc.)
  • Carrying out technical input/output briefings with specialist departments
  • Coordinate the installation and commissioning of mechanical systems and equipment within the scope of sample installations
  • Release for the execution of engine ground runs and aircraft tows

You’ll bring this with you

  • Completed professional training in an aeronautical subject as well as completed training as a master craftsman or technician
  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in aviation
  • EASA CAT B1-100 or 300 certification
  • Radiotelephone certificate of the Federal Network Agency
  • MS Office skills
  • Good knowledge of written and spoken English
  • Experience as a plane chief in maintenance
