  • Technical responsibility for evaluating changes to the type design of the legacy fleet related to aircraft and system safety
  • Proven experience in independently performing safety analysis tasks for complex systems
  • Expertise in performing system level safety and reliability analyses
  • Experience in dealing with in-service safety issues
  • Familiarity with SAE ARP4754A and ARP4761
  • Experience in SFHA, PSSA, SSA, FMEA, and reliability prediction.

You’ll bring this with you

  • Master’s Degree in Aerospace Engineering or similar
  • 8+ years of experience in aircraft and system safety at major OEMs or as a consultant in this field
  • Hands-on experience in the following system safety tools: reliability workbench or equivalent FTA software, reliability prediction software
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills as an autonomous worker and as a good communicator
  • Excellent written and oral knowledge of English. German is a plus
