This is what you can do

As an Expert System Safety Engineer for Avionics, Electrical & Autopilot, you will:

Independently perform all Aircraft / System-level Safety analyses
Take Technical Responsibility for System level Safety analyses across the Safety V cycle
Develop & update applicable Safety Processes and Procedures.
Align with the Systems Design and Installation team regarding the applicable safety requirements.
Proactively identify Safety certification gaps/issues and work toward their resolution.
Work with suppliers to achieve the target Safety levels.
Support various Common Cause Analyses (CCA), including Particular Risk Analysis (PRA) and Zonal Safety Analysis (ZSA)
Manage the Validation and Verification of Safety Requirements

You’ll bring this with you

Master’s Degree in Aerospace Engineering or similar
10+ years of experience in Aircraft / System Safety at major OEMs or consulting in this field
Experience in Safety Processes covering AFHA, SFHA, PSSA, CMA, SSA, FMEA, and Reliability Prediction of Complex Systems
Hands-on experience in Safety tools like Reliability Workbench, CAFTA, or equivalent FTA software
Good knowledge of Avionics, Electrical, & Auto Pilot domains
Familiarity with SAE ARP4754B and ARP4761A standards
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills as an autonomous worker and a good communicator
Excellent written and oral knowledge of English. German is a plus
