Leadership, People & Organization Development

  • Lead, develop and inspire a department of Avionics, Electrics & EWIS engineers.
  • Define and execute the departmental strategy aligned with company and engineering objectives.
  • Drive workforce planning, capability development, and succession planning.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Promote employee engagement, performance, and professional growth.
  • Ensure adequate training, coaching, and mentoring across the organization.

    Operational Excellence & Resource Planning

    • Ensure effective allocation of resources across programs and projects.
    • Monitor performance through KPIs, risk management, and corrective actions.
    • Manage external partners and engineering service providers as required.
    • Deliver engineering commitments on time, on cost, and on quality.

    Technical Excellence & Digitalization

    • Ensure compliance with applicable airworthiness, certification, and quality requirements.
    • Drive continuous improvement of engineering processes, methods, and tools.
    • Promote digitalization, automation, and modern engineering practices, including Lean and Agile approaches.
    • Support the development and maintenance of critical technical competencies within the department.

    Stakeholder Management

    • Collaborate closely with Engineering, Program Management, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Safety, Airworthiness, Quality, Finance, and HR.
    • Act as a key interface to senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.

      You’ll bring this with you:

      • Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
      • Minimum 15 years of experience in aircraft systems development, certification, or maintenance.
      • Proven leadership experience in complex engineering organizations. ·      
      • Experience in a dynamic scale-up environment, with a hands-on, proactive, and results-driven leadership style. ·      
      • Proven background in new aircraft development or aircraft maintenance Strong expertise in avionics, electrical systems, EWIS, and aircraft certification environments.
      • Demonstrated success in organizational development, people leadership, and program execution.
      • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and decision-making skills in an international environment.
