This is what you can do

  • Evolve and mature Project Management discipline in the Engineering organization
  • Establish common processes, methods and tools for project management       
  • Provide support to Chief Engineers in project execution (particularly in managing risks, schedule and costs)
  • Develop and manage the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS)
  • Create visibility and provide regular drumbeat to facilitate execution       
  • Manage project requirements and compliance       
  • Align engineering teams with project timelines and requirements     
  • Preparation of critical phase reviews ·  
  • Promote cross team integration and foster working together     
  • Perform functional leadership responsibilities of team (i.e. recruitment, training, work assignment, workload management, performance management, career development) ·   
  • Regularly support, coach and mentor team members       
  • Create a healthy, motivating and respectful work environment Communicate department strategies/initiatives to the team and to guide team towards those objectives

You’ll bring this with you

  • Engineering degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical or equivalent    
  • Minimum 10 years professional experience in relevant fields of aircraft product development, with a minimum 5 years specifically in Project Management
  • New product development experience of at least one new aircraft program    
  • Experience with developing and standardizing Project Management processes
  • Successful demonstration of multi-disciplinary projects execution      
  • Excellent team spirit, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to prioritize, manage and execute multiple simultaneous tasks
  • Very good English language skill
