This is what you can do
- Evolve and mature Project Management discipline in the Engineering organization
- Establish common processes, methods and tools for project management
- Provide support to Chief Engineers in project execution (particularly in managing risks, schedule and costs)
- Develop and manage the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS)
- Create visibility and provide regular drumbeat to facilitate execution
- Manage project requirements and compliance
- Align engineering teams with project timelines and requirements
- Preparation of critical phase reviews ·
- Promote cross team integration and foster working together
- Perform functional leadership responsibilities of team (i.e. recruitment, training, work assignment, workload management, performance management, career development) ·
- Regularly support, coach and mentor team members
- Create a healthy, motivating and respectful work environment Communicate department strategies/initiatives to the team and to guide team towards those objectives
You’ll bring this with you
- Engineering degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical or equivalent
- Minimum 10 years professional experience in relevant fields of aircraft product development, with a minimum 5 years specifically in Project Management
- New product development experience of at least one new aircraft program
- Experience with developing and standardizing Project Management processes
- Successful demonstration of multi-disciplinary projects execution
- Excellent team spirit, communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritize, manage and execute multiple simultaneous tasks
- Very good English language skill
