This is what you can do

  • Explore the literature to identify the current status for flying TMS at the relevant power class. Best practices from other industries shall also be captured if an aviation relevant application does not exist. Focus on the following areas:           
    • Assumptions and limitations for components and systems
    • State of the art and upcoming technologies           
    • Proposed system architectures and comparison on selected figures of merit           
    • Key risks and issues
  • Devise system architectures for a fuel cell TMS. The activities include:
    • Capture key requirements
    • Lay out the system architecture
    • Identify key components
  • Model the system behaviour           
    • Capture the stakeholder modelling needs
    • Identify the key variables to simulate the system behaviour
    • Create a 0D or 1D system model
    • Integrate the model with the aircraft models

You’ll bring this with you

  • Students enrolled in Bachelor’s / Master’s Degree in Aerospace Engineering
  • Good understanding of basic system design concepts
  • Autonomous worker
  • Excellent written and oral knowledge of English. German is a plus
