This is what you can do

  • Apply a structured methodology to lead configuration management activities for the 328ECO program
  • Own and create processes and procedures for all CM activities that comply with AS9100 quality audit requirements
  • Project manage milestone deliverables from subcontractor activities to establish the CM workflows in the 3DX platform (including detailed phases, timelines, resource allocation, and risk mitigation)
  • Negotiate with the DMU and PLM teams to make sure workflows in 3DX for all CM activities comply with airworthiness requirements
  • Create status accounting reports for management for progress and risk
  • Define CM architecture, baselines, configuration items and master data
  • Define design change control from business case to certification release
  • Define document management; number systems, document control, specification control and data control from location and revision control
  • Lead the CM department team in all CM activities
  • Lead as CM subject matter expert and implement best practices
  • Support change management at all organizational levels
  • Support PLM team for 3DX compliance in CM work flows
  • Define and measure success metrics and monitor change progress
  • Take responsibility for supporting one or more Projects
  • Defining, implementing, and optimizing configuration management processes and procedures from inception to audit compliance
  • Define change life cycles, from development to serial production
  • Control of PLM libraries data and future retrievability
  • Arrange CM training requirements with PLM team trainer

You’ll bring this with you

  • 10 years (Minimum) experience and knowledge of configuration management and change control principles, methodologies and tools
  • Experience with PLM software tools (Enovia 3DX preferred)
  • Experience with large-scale aeronautical organizational OEM
  • Multi-cultural experience
  • Ability to work effectively at all levels of an organization
  • Must have good organization skills
  • Decision-making capacity and a strong sense of responsibility
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills
