This is what you can do:

  • Provision of technical expertise in support of structural justifications for systems, system installations and cabin installations for a CS25 commuter aircraft
  • Definition of analysis philosophy, and associated methods, for the structural justification of systems, systems installations and cabin installations
  • Review and approval of structural analysis and compliance documentation produced by systems and equipment suppliers
  • Acting as Compliance Verification Engineer (CVE) for all analysis activities relating to systems, systems installations and cabin installations
  • Mentoring and coaching of Systems & Cabin Stress team as well as provision of technical direction to suppliers
  • Definition, witnessing and interpretation of development and certification test

You’ll bring this with you:

  • 15+ years of experience of static and F&DT analysis of systems, systems installations (ECS, Electrical, Hydraulic, Fuel, Avionics, Flight Controls, Mechanical Systems) and interiors installations (Momuments, Galleys, Lavatories, Partitions etc.) for CS25 aircraft
  • Strong understanding of EASA (and FAA) certification requirements for CS25 aircraft associated AMC/GM, and the aircraft certification process as well as other industry standards such as DO160G
  • Previous experience as a CVE for systems stress including compliance showing and certification documentation
  • Demonstrated ability to mentor and coach other stress engineers and provide technical direction on external work packages offloaded to suppliers
  • Proficiency in FEM tools (e.g., Nastran, Patran, HyperWorks) and classical stress analysis
  • Familiarity with Catia or similar CAD environment and 3DEXPERIENCE (3DX) for collaborative design, model synchronization, and PLM workflows
  • Strong technical writing skills for stress reports, compliance documentation, and substantiation dossiers
  • Understanding of load paths, load introduction, system/component vibration considerations, and integration with primary structure
  • Familiarity with fatigue & damage tolerance methods, durability concepts, and substantiation as per EASA requirements
  • Capability to participate in or define static/fatigue tests, provide analytical predictions, and correlate results
  • Proactive and solution oriented mindset suitable for a dynamic aerospace environment
  • Excellent communication skills, especially with multidisciplinary and cross-functional teams
  • Ownership, accountability and high attention to documentation quality
  • Strong problem solving, planning, and prioritization skills
  • Fluent English communication skills
