This is what you can do:
- Lead and mentor the engineering team in the critical mission of defining, implementing, and applying Development Assurance (DA) processes at Aircraft, System, and Equipment levels.
- Perform supplier oversight across the hardware and software development lifecycle, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and standards.
- Expert knowledge in requirements capture, definition, verification and validation, configuration management, and process assurance, in accordance with ARP4754A.
- Act as the primary liaison with EASA Panel 10 representatives, including preparation for and participation in EASA panel meetings.
- Participate in SOIs (Stages of Involvement) and System Reviews (SRs) audits.
- Oversee and verify the preparation and submission of technical documentation to EASA, ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Support qualification activities, ground tests, SOF (Safety of Flight) assessments, and flight test activities.
- Knowledge of aircraft installation approval for TSO items, including interface with certification and airworthiness requirements.
- Knowledge of Problem Reporting and requirements management tools, such as IBM DOORS.
- Working knowledge of the Safety Assessment Process in accordance with ARP4761 at system and equipment levels
You’ll bring this with you:
- Master’s Degree or Diplom Ingenieur in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Software Engineering.
- More than 10 years of experience in Development Assurance processes applied to aircraft systems, such as avionics and electrical systems.
- In-depth experience with:
- RTCA DO-178C/AMC 20-115D and RTCA DO-254 (AMC 20-152A)
- System Development Processes in accordance with ARP4754A
- Safety Assessment Process in accordance with ARP4761
- Familiarity with EASA regulations, including Part 21J and CS 25 / FAR 25
- Desirable: Experience as an EASA CVE, including participation in EASA Panel 10 activities.
Strong team spirit and good communication skills as well as very good English language skills
