This is what you can do:

EWIS Development & Integration

  • Develop and integrate a certifiable EWIS in accordance with EASA CS-25 requirements
  • Lead EWIS development activities throughout the product lifecycle, including interface definition, wiring diagrams, cable routing, installation, verification, and release for manufacturing
  • Ensure compliance with applicable airworthiness, certification, and quality requirements
  • Support aircraft integration activities and resolve technical issues related to EWIS design and installation

Certification & Testing

  • Prepare Part 21 compliance documentation and support certification activities
  • Contribute to system safety assessments and compliance demonstrations
  • Support qualification, ground test, and flight test activities
  • Ensure verification and validation activities are completed in accordance with program requirements

Technical Coordination & Supplier Management

  • Act as the primary technical interface for external suppliers on EWIS-related matters
  • Collaborate closely with System Integration, Program Management, Supply Chain, and external partners
  • Support the resolution of technical risks, issues, and change requests throughout the development lifecycle.

Technical Excellence & Continuous Improvement

  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of EWIS engineering processes, methods, and tools.
  • Support the development and maintenance of EWIS design standards and best practices.
  • Coach and mentor junior engineers and contribute to knowledge sharing within the team.

You’ll bring this with you:

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related discipline
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in aircraft development within an EASA Part 21J and CS-25 environment
  • Experience in EWIS or aircraft electrical systems development and integration; knowledge of Zuken E3 is an advantage
  • Strong technical understanding of wiring design, cable routing, electromagnetic effects, and aircraft electrical systems
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams
  • Proactive, organized, and solution-oriented, with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and deliver results in a dynamic engineering environment
  • Very good English language skills
